Why choose Spencer County Physical Therapy (SCPT)

  • Our Physical Therapist holds a Doctorate Degree in Physcial Therapy
  • Our Physical Therapist is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialists (OCS)
  • Less than 4% of all Kentucky PT’s hold that distinction
  • We were the first PT clinic to come to Spencer County, back in 1999. We have happily served this community for over 15 years.
  • Experience. Our therapists have over 35 years of combined experience and over 3000 hours of advanced continuing education training.
  • Privately owned. We are personally invested in your care and in you as an individual. You are the reason we have, and will continue to thrive in this community. Every single person matters to us, we take your care very personally. We are not a “Big Box” clinic!
  • We understand sports medicine. Most of our clinical staff have competed in athletics. Dr. House competed in Track & Field in high school and for the University of Louisville. She has actively supported Spencer County Athletes since 1999. We provide free injury assessments to everyone, including athletes.

What to expect when you come to Physical Therapy (PT)

On your first day we will conduct your evaluation to determine where the “root” of your problem stems from. We will ask for your input to determine how you are most affected and what you want to gain from your treatment. We believe it is imperative that you understand what the “problem” is and what will be necessary to achieve a successful outcome.

Your Physical Therapist will design a customized treatment plan that not only addresses the “problem,” but also fits into your life. We understand no one has time to be hurt so we will teach you ways to integrate your treatment into your daily routine.

We stress independence and will provide you with the tools you will need to continue on your own after you “graduate” from PT.

“Great place, caring staff. Helped take care of a lower back issue and would definitely go back if needed and recommend to others.” -Chris Rollier Via Facebook
